Cancellation Policy

We  totally understand things happen and there are special circumstances that cause us to need to cancel last minute and re-book. Please be respectful of our time. If a guest no-shows or cancels last minute we are not able to fill that space. We are reliant on our scheduled appointments and need to have enough time to fill that space if you are unable to make it.

*exceptions- Due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic we are asking anyone who is ill or has symptoms to reschedule 14days later. There will be no penalty for this if we receive a call , email or text.

Appointments must be cancelled within 24 hours by phone call, text, email or online booking.

If you have to reschedule or cancel your appointment within the 24hour time frame you are subject to a $50 re-booking fee for all future appointments. The re-booking fee will go towards your next service, however it will be kept if you cancel within 24hours or no show again.

No shows without a message or warning will be subject to a $100 re-booking fee for all future appointments. The re-booking fee will go towards your next appointment. If you no-show again or cancel within the 24hour time period the re-booking fee will be kept.

Habitual no shows and last minute cancels may be subject to paying for your appointment up front or kindly asked to find a new salon.

Extension Policy

Charmed proudly specializes in quality Hair and Extension services. Only the finest Slavic and Indian 100% Remy, Human, cuticle intact hair is offered. Our promise is shiny, tangle free, long lasting hair and exceptional service. After 10 years in the business we have found best practice is for new guests to have a complimentary consultation prior to booking. The consultation establishes a relationship with your stylist and goes through suitability, maintenance, color match, pricing and hair. We want to know your hair goals so we can create the hair of your dreams.

New clients require a consultation.

**Exceptions**
Guests that have had hair extensions in the past and know what is needed. Guests who bring their own hair  also do not require a consultation.

A deposit is required for hair orders and to secure your appointment.

•There are
no refunds, returns or exchanges for hair extensions. This is a strict policy that adheres to the Health and Hygiene regulations in Canada. Once hair is ordered we cannot refund your hair deposit.

New guests must sign a release form to acknowledge the maintenance, aftercare instructions and potential risks.

Proper aftercare, products and maintenance is expected to keep your hair and the extensions healthy.

Charmed holds the right to refuse service for guests that don’t follow proper after care, have visible damage or has hair that is not suitable for hair extensions.

New clients will receive aftercare instructions and a take home bag with extension essentials
*Brush, Scrunchie and  sample sizes products.

Take home products will be recommended and ready for purchase through Charmed

Covid19 Plan and Procedures

Due to the current pandemic we have taken steps guided by worksafebc to ensure a safe for our guests. Please read through the guidelines and procedures we've laid out to limit the spread of covid 19 in the salon and community. This is the new normal and we are in this together.

Guest Guidelines

  • If you are sick or have been around or cared for someone who is sick please reschedule your appointment 14 days from the onset of illness or contact with sick person

  • If you have traveled or been in close contact with anyone who has traveled reschedule your appointment for 14 days after your arrival or contact

  • No Walk-in. All services and product pick ups are by appointment only.

  • All salon guests must go through screening questions while booking and again before entering the salon

  • Guests will wait outside or in their car for confirmation to enter

  • No-contact temperature readings may be taken at the door

  • Masks must be worn in the salon at all times. If you do not have a mask one will be provided to you for $1.50

  • Please do not bring anyone to your appointment

  • Upon entering please use the Hand Sanitizer provided at the door/Washyour hands

  • Limit what you bring to your appointment. We will not be utilizing coat hangers or closets. Your purse and phone will have to stay on you. They cannot be placed on surfaces.

  • Bring your own beverages for the time being

  • No eating in the salon for the time being

  • We are limiting the use of CASH. We have Etransfer, Credit, Debit and Online Credit available

Redo's, Returns, Refunds

Redo's or corrections must be communicated within 72 hours after service rendered. We will be more than happy to correct anything you;re unhappy with.

Hair Extensions are final sale. No Refunds, Returns or Exchanges.

Hair deposits cannot be refunded once the hair order is placed. If the order has not been placed then we are more than happy to return your deposit.

Hair Products can be returned or exchanged unused and unopened within 14 days. If you have an adverse reaction to your product contact us immediately.

​

Hair tools are final sale. They can be returned or exchanged if there is a manufacturing defect within 3months.
